This Senior Vice President for North America Channel Sales will be responsible for leading the Channel Sales New business sales efforts. The SVP will lead a team of Channel Sales leaders, Channel Managers and National Partner Managers who are responsible for building repeatable, sustainable partnerships and closing Net New business within the assigned territory as well as building channel business to partner on new customer acquisition. This role will also be tasked with contributing to and enforcing sales standards and practices and providing leadership in the local market. The SVP will be responsible for nurturing and developing the regional channel sales team which will include interviewing, hiring, and developing employees to ensure successfully hitting all key metrics and goals for the region.

Responsibilities

  • Develop the strategy for North America Channel Sales growth and set the direction for the VP and sales directors to implement with the regional channel sales teams
  • Continually analyze strategy for empirical results and adjust as necessary
  • Engage with partners directly to build strategic relationships and growth of key partnerships
  • Partner with key stakeholders and sector leaders to build a repeatable, sustainable partner business
  • Lead North America Channel Net New business sales efforts
  • Lead in team selling environment providing coaching and guidance to direct reports and sales teams
  • Assist sales directors and Channel Managers in building partner sales engagements and closing deals with partners
  • Develop, implement, and manage sales strategies for the region inline with our GTM strategy
  • Monitor and analyze team and subordinate employee statistics, key indicators and results
  • Ensure accurate reporting and pipeline management
  • Partner with Marketing to maintain high levels of market visibility and healthy lead gen activities
  • Partner with the Partner Program Office to identify areas for growth and build programs to drive that growth
  • Partner with Sales Performance Coaches to ensure coaching plans are in place for regional teams who need coaching and implement strategy to improve sales performance and efficiency including drilling, daily task planning, etc.
  • Meet with Regional Channel Sales Directors for Monthly Pipeline to ensure forecast accuracy and sales goal achievement
  • Disciplinary and/or Coaching Actions needed to increase production
  • Attend Company Marketing Events
    Qualifications
    • 4 year college or university degree
    • 5+ years managing Channel sales teams, developing Channel sales and partner
    • Experience in IT Channel Sales (Saas preferred), strategies, debugging sales statistics and sale reps
    • Experience with Gmail and Google Docs
    • Experience with MS Office (Word and Excel)
    • Experience with web browsers (Chrome, Internet Explorer, etc.)
    • Experience managing and or coaching/training employees
    • Experience in Enterprise level account sales
    • Ability to read/review and interpret statistics of an area
    • Strong verbal and written communications
    • Excellent time management and organization skills
    • Strong Sales skills
    • Coaching abilities
