supports operation, inspection and maintenance processes to
mechanical building equipment and systems. Come join our IFM team
that manages our industrial client campus in the the Palm
Bay-Melbourne-Titusville, Florida Metro area! Work schedules
support a 24 7 critical operation. Location: Stationary at Kennedy
Space Center, FL 32815 Schedule: On-site, Sunday-Thursday, 7:00 AM
to 3:30 PM Reporting to: Chief EngineerType of Employment:
Full-Time w/JLL employee benefits within 1 month of employment

position: $40.87 an hour The Electrician oversees the daily
operation of the critical building electrical systems and
associated equipment. This will include electrical distribution,
emergency systems, lighting, etc. Must be willing to work out of
trade when necessary to perform other work tasks, assist other
tasks outside of the electrical field. Strong working knowledge of
national electrical code. This position requires a high level of
technical expertise with a variety of building infrastructure. The
individual in this role must be available for on-call work.
Off-hours shifts, evening, night and weekend work is required . The
position may be called upon to perform other general maintenance
and support duties on an as-needed basis. What your day-to-day will
look like:
- Should be well versed in conduit installation, motor control
circuitry, switch gear maintenance and cable termination
- Know how to read and interpret electrical prints and schematic
drawings Will be working with low and medium voltages safely
utilizing the proper test and measurement equipment
- Strong electrical troubleshoot and controls knowledge
- Knowledge of VFDs, controllers, and associated systems
- Strong knowledge of lighting systems, UPSs, and generators
- Must have knowledge and understanding of 24, 48, 120, and
480-volt electrical systems
- Must have knowledge of industrial Electrical and Instrument
systems
- Must be capable in utilizing and operating tools and equipment
associated with craft discipline
- Must demonstrate the ability to comprehend and recognize all
job-related work permits and complete Job Hazard Analysis
- Must be able to perform work wearing personnel protective
equipment if necessary . Including but not limited to the
following: rain gear, chemical protective clothing, supplied air
and air purifying respirators, safety harness, sand blast hoods,
flame retardant coveralls, flash suit with gloves and hood, hard
hat, ear plugs, and safety glasses.
- Must be able to work in high places (not afraid of heights) and
work in confined spaces if need be
- comply with policies for the safe storage, usage and disposal
of hazardous materials.
- Maintain compliance to State, County, or City Ordinances,
Codes, or Laws.
- Document work performance and materials procurement, as
directed.
- Any and all other tasks and duties assigned. Physical Job
Requirements:
- Ability to lift, bend, and move in such a way as to perform job
tasks in a safe and approved manner. Must be able to lift
50lbs.
- Skilled and physically able to operate electric hand tools,
work on a ladder, carry tools, lift and carry heavy loads, operate
required equipment.
- Subject to 24-hour availability and may be required to work in
all weather conditions
- Environmental conditions will vary based on the job being
performed. Work may take place in either the maintenance shop
and/or throughout the building depending upon the job requirements.
Must be capable of working outdoors in all types of weather
conditions. Must provide proof of US Citizenship:
- Due to federal government regulations pertaining to secured
areas on-site, candidates applying for the position must be able to
provide proof of US Citizenship. This requirement ensures
compliance with legal and security mandates. All applicants must
possess a valid form of identification that confirms their US
citizenship status. In addition, applicants who accept a

security investigation(s) and must meet eligibility requirements
for access to classified information. Required Skills and
Experience:
- High School diploma/GED required
- Journeymen's Electrical License with 5+ years of having
license, An 01, 07, or 06A Electrical license is desirable
- Must be located in the Palm Bay-Melbourne-Titusville area
(relocation assistance is not available for this role)
- Must possess and maintain a valid state driver's license & a
reliable vehicle
- Must have relevant work experience, preventive & corrective
maintenance of commercial &/or industrial
buildings/equipment.
- Experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel,
Teams)
- Experience using Computerized Maintenance Management System
(CMMS) &/or Building Management System (BMS)
- Must have adequate skills to perform required job functions
with minimal supervision
- Able to work in a customer service environment interacting with
the client.
- Team player with good interpersonal skills
- Conflict resolution skills. Ability to communicate well in both
oral and written reports
- Knowledge of NEC, OSHA standards, and local codes Preferred
Skills and Experience:
- Military service, union training, vocational or college
education is desirable
