Job Summary:
The Construction Management intern will be responsible for helping the Building Remediation Science department plan, execute and manage construction projects in the areas of indoor air quality, HVAC cleaning and restoration, and air handler re-builds..-- This position will include both in-office work and field work, with some travel.
Construction Manager Intern Responsibilities:
Assist in Training:

• Assist the director of training in:
  
  • Revising and improving the training program for field technicians
    
  • Implement new training concepts
    
  • Execution of training of BRS technicians
    
    Assist in Estimating:
    
    • Assist director of estimating in:
      
      • Gathering data, subcontractor pricing, and documents for preparation of estimates
        
      • Field visits to gather data and documents for estimates
        
      • Creation of estimates for projects
        
        Assist in Project Management:
        
        • Assist BRS project managers in:
          
          • Planning logistics for projects
            
          • Client communication and maintaining excellent communication with customers
            
          • Identifying unique and/or complex areas that need to more detailed planning and execution
            
          • Pre-project meetings with customers and internal
            
          • Meeting technicians in field upon commencement of project and revising project plan for commencement
            
          • Conducting QA/QC visits to field for ongoing projects
            
          • Managing subcontractors as necessary
            
          • Ensuring customer is providing information, labor and documents required for Pure Air to execute
            
            
          • You must be willing to become well versed in all Pure Air services including air handler re-builds, restoration, air handler steam cleaning, environmental duct cleaning, mold remediation, and indoor air quality investigations.
            The hourly rate for applicants in this position generally ranges between $18 and $20 (based on prior experience). This range is an estimate, based on potential employee qualifications, operations, needs, and other considerations permitted by law.
