(Starting Salary, $60,000 + per year DOE)APARTMENT MAINTENANCE EXPERIENCE NOT APPLICABLE INDUSTRIAL MAINTENANCE SUMMARYDirects maintenance crews in the installation, repair and preventive maintenance of equipment used throughout the Chemical plant, facilities, utilities and equipment. Oversees maintenance of processes in order to reduce mechanical downtime and keep product flows and production lines running at maximum efficiency. Experience with pumps, tanks and vessels, piping systems all phases of utilities including knowledge of 480 volt and 3 phase all a PLUS! INDUSTRIAL MAINTENANCE ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following--- Leads teams of Maintenance Craft Mechanics & Electricians in predictive & preventative maintenance and machine repair.--- Responsible for the development, implementation and day to day supervision of maintenance systems, processes and documentation associated with efficient and High Performing Manufacturing Organizations (Prevention and Predictive Maintenance, TPM, SOP's, Safety, etc.).--- Ensures maintenance is scheduled in a timely manner and works closely with Production to schedule and accomplish equipment and facility repairs.--- Oversee mechanics and contractors on site projects and repairs of equipment and facilities. --- Provides long term solutions and day-to-day support to all operating teams having issues with troubleshooting, problem analysis, equipment failures, etc.--- Assist in hiring and training employees on proper work methods and safety procedures.--- Ensures tasks are completed in accordance with USDA regulations.--- Maintains accurate records of maintenance work performed and inventory.--- Provides regular status reports to maintenance management team.--- Insure completion of work orders and keep projects within budget and adhere to timeline. --- Adjust daily work force to accomplish production downs and emergencies.--- Responsible to manage a 24/7 shop schedule. --- Ability to work with Production, Warehouse and other groups within the plant.--- Manages employee performance, daily time cards and authorizes PTO for employees.--- Oversees building maintenance and grounds work.--- Ensure all mechanics work safely and conduct safety tailgate meetings. INDUSTRIAL MAINTENANCE EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCEAssociate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; 2 years or more experience as an Industrial Maintenance Supervisor or related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Teamwork is essential for TSE's continued success, so Teamwork is an essential function of every employee's job. INDUSTRIAL MAINTENANCE SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESDirectly supervise employees in the Maintenance Department. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. INDUSTRIAL MAINTENANCE SAFETY TRAINING To perform this job successfully, an individual must complete and maintain the following Safety Training requirements.Training according to department training matrix. INDUSTRIAL MAINTENANCE QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. INDUSTRIAL MAINTENANCE REASONING ABILITYAbility to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
