Job Description:

The Senior SAP SD consultant will create technical solutions to business requirements through both designs of business processes as well as the configuration analysis of an SAP system.--
This role will join an international team for an SAP landscape for about 3000 users in the areas of sales, purchasing, and logistics, and will focus on the SD & SCM gATP module for the SAP system. Responsibilities:

• Designs and implements new business processes
• Provides process-oriented business analysis in one or more functional areas (End-to-End processes)
• Executes detailed configuration analysis of country specific business processes within the framework of a global template
• Contribute to technology roadmap
• Coordinates and collaborates closely with the business owners of the corresponding solutions. Builds and maintains the good relationship.
• Offers technical solutions to fulfil and implement business requirements with standard methods
• Drive the full software development lifecycle from requirements analysis through handover to production
• Provides SAP system customization in one or more functional areas
• Solves module specific problems as contact person for internal customers
• Provides functional descriptions and business process support to the development team
• Codes analysis and problem identification to accelerate development
• Creates business standard documentation of all new developments
• Generates test runs for user acceptance test and assists user in executing test
• Coaches and assists the trainings department
• Demonstrates flexibility and support for objectives / tasks of other IT organizations
• Provides input to planning process
• Provides knowledge transfer to Trainers, Subject Matter Experts and external Consultants
• Performs additional duties as assigned Knowledge Skills and Experience
  • 5-7 years relevant experience required
  • Analytic skills
  • Process knowledge of distribution business preferred
  • Expert configuration knowledge in the area of SCM gATP & SD availability checks
  • Good understanding on the Planning and execution Business Process - SAP/Industry Best Practices
  • Strong analytical skills, able to translate business requirements to technical specifications
  • ABAP skills desired for debugging and system analysis
  • Minimum 2 full life cycle implementations
  • Industry process knowledge of distribution business preferred
  • Strong experience in the functional business area of Sales
  • Strong technical and non-technical communication skills, paired with customer oriented behaviour
  • Willing to cooperate closely with business and consulting partners enjoy to work in a team
  • Ability to work in an international environment
