Community Based CounselorMake a difference in the lives of Orange County Families!Aspire Health Partners is looking to add 6 new counselors to their ALPHA/FOCUS team based across Orange County. Hours: Monday- Friday, 8 AM to 5 PMPay Rate: $20.43As one of our community-based counselors you will be working with children and families in both community centers and schools to provide counseling services for a variety of issues including:

• Depression
• Anger
• School Difficulties
• Self-esteem
• Marital Issues
• Motivation
• Trauma
• Anxiety
• Substance AbuseServices provided include:
  • Counseling
  • Academic Assistance
  • Character Education Lessons
  • Mentoring
  • Family supportResponsibilities Include:
  • Developing case plans
  • Providing therapeutic counseling to clients
  • Assessing the needs of the client and family to refer them to appropriate support services and programs
  • Most importantly, all functions must be completed while maintaining high standards of ethical and professional conduct while adhering to agency policies and proceduresQualifications
    • Master's Degree in social services
    • 1 year experience working with target population preferred
    • Pass a Level II Background clearance
