Job Description JOB SUMMARY The strategic partnerships manager will lead, manage, and develop a Real Estate & Insurance portfolio of PODS partners with the goal of driving revenue and strategically aligning PODS with key partners from related industries. The right candidate will own partner relationships and day to day communication with external and internal business partners, work with Marketing to create campaigns to further partner relationships and find new opportunities with existing partners. This individual will bring new innovative ideas, diligent measurement processes, and have a passion for driving partner revenue with strategic campaigns, pilots, and cross-referral programs. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Develop and manage a diverse group of partners to drive revenue Lead partner recruitment process - identify potential strategic partners across a variety of industries; negotiate commercial terms all the way to signature Develop proposals & collateral for potential partners Work closely with the Marketing team to activate, promote and grow partnerships through strategic marketing campaigns, CRM communications, and tailored brand assets Optimize customer acquisition, conversion and personalization strategies in sync with key partners Drive excellence in leveraging the PODS brand to deliver business-complementary partnerships, drive cross-referral initiatives with partners Collaborate with marketing program owners, content strategists and/or campaign managers to integrate and repurpose content marketing and campaign content where appropriate Partner with cross functional teams (i.e. Marketing, Finance, IT, Digital, Creative Services, and Customer Experience) to align integration of objectives, and ensure new and existing partnerships are optimized Travel to existing partners or clients to nurture and develop relationships Attend trade shows to create new relationships or build upon existing ones MANAGEMENT & SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILTIES Typically reports to Management. Activation of cross-marketing partnerships including major media elements or relevant business-to-business sales experience Manage a diverse group of partners to bolster revenue sources Will be expected to travel to existing partners or clients to nurture those relationships Will be expected to attend trade shows to create new relationships or build upon existing ones Proven ability to derive, manipulate, synthesize, and apply findings to business problems to lift revenue and profits Ability to analyze data from multiple sources and platforms Excellent communication, collaboration and consensus-building skills - ability to work with cross-functional teams including upstream content contributors and downstream content activators Strong project management and organizational skills; ability to juggle multiple projects successfully and prioritize tasks effectivelyA general curiosity for appropriate industries and ability to strategize their solutions
