Responsibilities

• Ability to Self-Perform duties onsite and manage/oversee laborers and subcontractors on shift
• Able to motivate and drive team to complete daily tasks
• Basic Carpentry Skills
• Able to move heavy objects (store racking)
• Basic understanding of torque and bolt ratings
• Ability to use screw guns and basic hand tools to disassemble and reassemble store racking
• Proficiency with reading Redline and Plan drawings
• Manage all safety aspects including proper PPE use and Working Area safety
• Ability to access and use technology (mobile phones, laptops, tablets, etc.)
• Able to operate all aspects of smartphone efficiently
• Able to use Apps to communicate with office team
• Demonstrates a potential for learning
• Possess clear communication skills and basic conflict resolution abilities
• Ability to relay day & night information to office team
• Strong recording skills including reporting hours of usage onsite

Qualifications

Education:

• Construction Management Degree and/or Trade School certifications preferred.

Experience:

• Previous Lead Merchandizer experience required - 1+ years of managing a crew of 5 or more
• Experience with large scale projects with Big Box Retail client (i.e. Home Depot, Walmart)
• OSHA 10 Certificate preferred
• Ability to read red-line prints, flow charts and planograms
• Proficiency with hand tools (i.e. screw guns)
• Forklift and/or Single Man Lifts a plus!
• We will provide necessary Training & Certifications!

Physical Demands:

• Job requires ability to perform tasks on all areas and aspects of construction project. Requires ability to climb ladders for heights of up to 30 feet, and crawl for distances of 50 feet.
• Job requires ability to work with tools, lumber and materials. Ability to lift and manipulate objects of up to 100 lbs. for 50 feet is required.
