JOB SUMMARY: Accurately index incoming mail,
faxes and report items in an efficient and timely manner.
E SSENTIAL DUTIES &
RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties may be assigned as
- Index POS General and POS Life General work objects in AWD
- Stop draft in admin system if necessary
- Create additional work objects if the original request is for
- Index pending items and assign work to CSRs
- Create work objects for items in the Premium folders
- Process Claims and POS return mail including research, updates
- Assist in answering the IAS main line number calls and transfer
them to appropriate department
- Employee is to ask supervisors; team lead or auditors for more
work if they are caught up
QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job
successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential
duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are
representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Associate is required to be able to work on an independent and
timely basis. Ability to focus and concentrate on the job so that
work objects are accurately indexed to business area, policy number
and work type. Efficiency and accuracy are important. A cooperative
demeanor is a must. Honesty, as well as respect, for the company
and its policies & procedures is crucial.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: High
school diploma or equivalent. Light clerical/office experience a
