Key Responsibilities Full lifecycle develop of aircraft navigational solutions via embedded real time safety critical software. These solutions are defined from requirements, implemented in code, verified in simulation & hardware testing, and certified with government and safety organizations as part of Honeywell's Aerospace Products. - Requirements and design - Navigational Feature Definition - Software architecture and coding of Realtime OS - Integration & System activities - Certification & Artifacts - Unit Test - Customer Support - Ability to code in multiple languagesREVCOGSCLW22YOU MUST HAVE - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Physics - 3+yrs of quantified experience in software engineering using C/C++ and/or ADA - Must be U.S. Citizen (single citizenship) due to ITAR WE VALUE - Understanding various software development lifecycle (waterfall, Agile) - Demonstrate the ability to develop efficient and high-quality embedded software and architecture (including DeOS and Monotonic Rate based operating systems) - Knowledge of software configuration management and change management practices - Diverse and global teaming and collaboration - Developed software in certified or regulated safety environments (Ada & C/C++) - Effective communicator - Team leadership and coordination experience - Can quickly analyze, incorporate and apply new information and concepts - Ability to consistently make timely decisions even in the face of complexity, balancing systematic analysis with decisiveness - Ability to convey subtle or complex messages clearly, as appropriate for the topic and audience - Beneficial relevant experience o DO178 B/C experience, including artifact creation o Agile or SAFE-Agile (Kanban & SCRUM) o GIT/Bitbucket and Jira use and management experience o Six Sigma development methodology July_ES_Sftwr #LI HybridAdditional Information
