We deliver services that connect, host, virtualize, store, collaborate, integrate, compute and transact business solutions that utilizes cloud first, automation, analytics, as a Service, BIG data and software defined.The Lead Systems Administrator will be responsible for operational support of Server Infrastructure for regional servers at Honeywell. You will work in VMware, Windows & Linux Server Architecture & Administration (Windows 2019/2016/2012 Operating Systems & *NIX). This role includes complimentary technology management of regional infrastructure such as network & backup infrastructure.Key ResponsibilitiesOperational support of on premise and regional server stacks and technologyWork with Hyper Converged Infrastructure technology platforms such as Dell VXRailTroubleshoot performance issues related to virtualized workloadsFacilitate Implementation of new technology stacks and migration of workloads from on-prem to hybrid cloud or pure cloudTravel on a rotating basis to regional Infrastructure deployments for supportGlobal operational support ofParticipate in calls with other members to address and troubleshoot application and or infrastructure related issuesPartner effectively across IT teams, suppliers and business customers on cross-functional projects and process improvementsTranslate business issues / requirements and objectives into technical solutionsTravel Approximately 15%YOU MUST HAVEA Bachelors Degree10+ years of experience in operational support of enterprise server ecosystem2+ years of Windows Server, Linux OS (Redhat, CentOS, or Ubuntu) and Virtualization platforms such as VMWare, VXRail, vSAN and NSX2+ years of server automation activities or Infrastructure as code (CHEF, Powershell, Nagios or other)1+ year with ServiceNow or another formal Service Management platform and/or methodologyWE VALUEExcellent leadership communication and executive presenceExperience with Microsoft Windows 2012, 2016 and 2019 operating systemsPatching tools such as Tanium and Windows security standards & OS Hardening concepts are a plusExperience with support of Azure or AWS servers and cloud storage such as NasuniExperience with support of Network infrastructure such as Cisco Nexus & Catalyst switchesExperience with support of data recovery products such as RubrikExperience with support of IT/OT systems, including network implementation & segmentation, PLCs and field devices, and IT systemsUnderstands both Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), Windows based PCs and server VMs and industrial network architectures and how to effectively support these technologiesStrong influencing, program and change management skillsStrong business acumen and customer focusEffectively demonstrates ability to deliver on complex situations or problems without guidance or supervisionCreative and collaborative problem-solving capabilityAttracting, motivating and developing diverse talentTechnical certifications in applicable technology areas is a plusKnowledge of IT business processes and practices including ITIL methodologySkill in partnering with internal customers at all levels to define problems, identify solutions, and facilitate changeExperience with data protection, business continuity and disaster recovery options, configuration and executionStrong interpersonal skills - effective listening and teamingAdditional InformationJOB ID: HRD144811Category: Information TechnologyLocation: 13350 US Hwy 19 N,Clearwater,Florida,33764,United StatesExemptGlobal (ALL)Honeywell is an equal opportunity employer.
