Job Description:

FlyUSA is looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist / Human Resources (HR) Generalist to join the team. In this role we expect that 75% of your time will be recruiting, onboarding, and training new employees for our rapidly growing business. - -The balance will be supporting a wide range of HR tasks including benefits and compensation administration, employee engagement, employee relations and compliance. -

Preference will be given to candidates with prior sales or sales recruiting experience
Responsibilities

  • First and foremost, helping us build a world class team!!
  • Lead efforts in talent acquisition and recruitment processes.
  • Conduct employee onboarding and help organize training & development initiatives.
  • Perform benefits plan administration and manage employee files and records in electronic and paper form, as well as HRIS system records and other HR databases.
  • Assists with employee relations tasks.
  • Foster employee engagement and job satisfaction by resolving issues promptly, applying new HR programs and benefits and organizing team building activities to promote a Best Places to Work environment.
  • Maintains compliance with labor regulations.
  • Other duties as assigned.
    Qualifications
    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
    • SHRM or 2 years of relevant experience in the HR & Talent Acquisition field. -KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND CHARACTERISTICS REQUIRED
      • Possesses a friendly, caring and "can-do" attitude with a high-level of energy.
      • Likes to work hard and have fun.
      • Desire to work both independently and collaboratively with a results-driven approach.
      • Excellent communications and people skills.
      • Attention to detail.
      • Excellent project management, organizational and time-management skills and the ability to multi-task and prioritize.
      • High-level of integrity, judgment, and situational awareness.
      • Flexible, adaptable, and a champion of change.
      • Has a coaching mindset with a strong desire to solve problems and drive efficiencies.
      • Understanding of general human resources policies and procedures.
      • Good knowledge of employment/labor laws.
      • Experience with HRIS systems (e.g. ADP Workforce Now) and/or processing payroll is a plus.
