Job Description Job Description Job Title: RN Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical Location: Hudson, FL Schedule: Full-Time | Days & Nights (Rotating Weekends) Openings: 5 About the Facility A 290-bed acute care hospital in Hudson, FL is seeking experienced Medical-Surgical Registered Nurses (RNs) to join its inpatient care team. The hospital is a designated Level II Trauma Center and is recognized for its comprehensive cardiac services, including a nationally recognized Heart Institute. The organization is known for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a collaborative and fast-paced clinical environment. Position Summary The Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) provides direct patient care to adult Med/Surg patients in an acute care setting. The RN is responsible for assessing patient needs, developing and implementing care plans, administering treatments, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for medical-surgical patients Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes appropriately Educate patients and families on medications, treatments, and discharge instructions Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant patient documentation Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care team members Qualifications Active Florida RN license or approved compact RN license (Florida RN license required within 90 days if compact) Nursing Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN) required ( BSN preferred ) Recent acute care experience required (No recent LTAC-only experience accepted) American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification required (Within 30 days of hire if not current) Strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills Onsite interview required Compensation & Differentials Hourly Rate: $30.00 – $42.00 (based on experience) Night Shift Differential: $4.75/hour Weekend Differential: $3.00/hour For more details reach at Aditi.sharma@navitashealth.com or Call / Text at 516-587-6677 .
