Summary: The Operating Room RN responsibilities include: - RN independently cares for a sub-specialty group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards - RN delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team - RN is responsible for professional accountability and development according to best practice standards set forth by a nationally recognized specialty organization - RN also preforms the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned For this position, we require a minimum of 2 years RN experience. We strongly prefer at least 1 year Operating Room experience as an RN for consideration. Specific Skills: - Clinical skills appropriate to position - Interpersonal skills Certifications and Licensures: - BLS (Basic Life Support) - RN (Registered Nurse) - ACLS (Cardiovascular) if required by department - Preferred Nurse Specialty Education: - Associate's Nursing or Nursing Diploma - Preferred Bachelor's Nursing Facility: BayCare Health System, Surgery-MPH Location: Morton Plant Status: Full Time, Exempt: No Shift Hours: 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM Shift: Shift 2 Shift 1 = Days, 2 = Evenings, 3 = Nights, 4 = Varies Weekend Work: Occasional On Call: Yes How often will this team member be working remotely?
