Job Description:

HCA Florida Poinciana Hospital is seeking a dedicated part-time CT Technologist to join our dynamic team at our Freestanding Emergency Department (FSED) in Haines City. This role is pivotal in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services, utilizing cutting-edge technology to support accurate diagnosis and treatment. The successful candidate will work in a state-of-the-art facility known for its commitment to innovation and excellence in emergency care, cardiology, women's health, and orthopedics. You will be instrumental in ensuring patient comfort while conducting scans and maintaining strict adherence to safety protocols. Operate CT imaging equipment to produce images of a patient’s internal structures for diagnostic purposes. Analyze and evaluate images critically to ensure optimal quality for diagnostic purposes. Assist radiologists and other medical staff with image-guided procedures. Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to confidentiality guidelines. Implement and adhere to health and safety standards to minimize radiation exposure to patients and staff. Communicate effectively with patients to explain procedures, address concerns, and ensure comfort. Manage scheduling and coordination of patient scans efficiently to maximize department productivity. Proficiency in operating CT imaging equipment Strong analytical skills to assess image quality Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) CT certification required Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
