Job Description:

*Medical Technologist Lead - Tampa FL (located in St. Petersburg, FL) *

Under minimal supervision and using independent judgment, this position is responsible for performing routine testing of biological specimens and reviewing test results and quality assessment data in accordance with all applicable guidelines and procedures. This position is also responsible for providing skilled technical support in the laboratory. Incumbents will participate in the administrative and workflow coordination functions of the laboratory. Medical Technologist Leads must maintain the required competencies for applicable testing.

*Required Qualifications*
* Florida Medical Technologist License in Immunohematology/Blood Bank (at a minimum)
* Bachelor's Degree or higher from an accredited institution in chemical, physical or biological sciences:

*Shift Differentials for 2nd (12%), 3rd (20%) and an additional 8% for qualifying weekend hours worked*

*Shift 3: Saturday to Monday 8:00 PM to 8:30 AM*
