Job Description:

Lab Medical Assistant IV role at BayCare Health System involves assisting technical staff, handling pretesting procedures, and working in a team environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assists technical staff within technical departments
  
• Handles manual pretesting procedures, including waived testing as required
  
• Works in a team environment
  
• Demonstrates organizational, time management, analytical, delegation, written, and verbal skills
  
• Uses computer skills appropriate to position
  
• Provides customer service and interpersonal skills
  
• Knowledge of regulatory standards appropriate to position
  
• Identifies problems and implements solutions
  
  Certification & Licensure:

  • ASCP / SCYM (if applicable)
    
  • AMT Medical Technologists (if applicable)

    Education:
    
    • 
      
    • High School or Equivalent
      
    • Technical Science (preferred)
      
    • Associate's (preferred)
      
      Experience:
      
      • 
        
      • 1 year in related field (required)
        
      • 2 years in related field (preferred)
