Position Description: Cardiovascular Interventional RN

The Cardiovascular Interventional Registered Nurse serves as a member of the Cardiovascular and Interventional Services Team assisting in the performance of diagnostic and invasive procedures. Independently functions during diagnostic and interventions with minimal supervision.

* Provides critical nursing care to include administration of moderate sedation, monitoring for complications, and preparation for interventional procedures.


* Provide nursing care to Emergency patients having during interventional procedure.


* Monitor and record procedures.

Requirements:

* Registered Nurse license


* BLS and ACLS


* 1 year in Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology, Electrophysiology, Emergency Department or Critical Care
* OR 2 years Tele/Progressive Care




* Associates Degree in Nursing


* IR/ICU or ER experience highly preferred
