Position Description: RN

The Procedural RN responsibilities include:

* Independently cares for a sub-specialty group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards


* Delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team


* Responsible for professional accountability and development according to best practice standards set forth by a nationally recognized specialty organization


* Also performs the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned

Requirements:

Certifications and Licensures:

* BLS (Basic Life Support)


* RN (Registered Nurse)


* ACLS (Cardiovascular) if required by department


* Preferred Nurse Specialty





Education:

* Associate's Nursing or Diploma Nursing


* Preferred Bachelor's Nursing





Experience:

* Required 1 year acute care experience or 1 year interventional / procedural experience or 6 months RN acute care or interventional / procedural experience with prior LPN experience and completed competency assessment.


* Preferred Experience includes 1 year Interventional/Perioperative Internship.
