Job Description:

Behavioral Health RNBayCare Health Systems is currently seeking Clinical Nurse's to join our outstanding and compassionate team at the Mease Hospital in Dunedin.

To help meet Pinellas County's growing need for mental health services, BayCare Behavioral Health has established a specialized inpatient behavioral health center at Mease Dunedin Hospital. The new center features separate units for children and adolescents, ages 3-18, adults, and a progressive unit designed to help seniors with mental health issues associated with aging like dementia.

Mease Dunedin's Behavioral Health Center offers a calm and restorative environment with furnishings and decor to help patients feel safe and comfortable. A qualified team of professionals, led by a psychiatrist, develops customized treatment plans for each patient which include:

* Individual and group sessions
* Medication therapy
* Activity therapy - each unit has two dedicated activity rooms
* Social work services

Expanding access to acute behavioral health services is one more way BayCare is helping meet the needs of the community.

Required Certifications and Licensures:

* BLS (Basic Life Support)
* RN (Registered Nurse)
* Nurse Specialty - preferred

Required Education:

* Associate's or Diploma in Nursing - Required
* Bachelor's in Nursing - Preferred

Experience:

* Clinical Nurse Department Pool I requires 18 months experience in an Acute Care Setting
