Relationship Manager

Job Description:

Clarity Services is seeking a Relationship Manager for alternative credit data solutions. In this role, you have a strong technical understanding of our product and our customers' business gleamed from industry knowledge and collaboration with the Sales team. You also have a knack for solving complex problems, and combine technical knowledge with exceptional presentation skills to provide both internal and external advice. Relationship Managers have responsibility for offering technical assistance, client satisfaction, up-selling, cross-selling, maintaining client communication, and client retention activities.

Essential Functions:

  • Develop strong relationships with clients by researching and understanding their business needs, responding to client concerns and problems and acting as the liaison between the client and internal departments
  • Detailed business knowledge of Alternative Credit Data and Subprime Lending industry
  • Oversee implementation for Clarity products and data furnishing; marshal resources to ensure client satisfaction and ROI
  • Gather data and insights regarding usage to demonstrate business impact and value; ensures usage at projected levels
  • Identify any custom technical requirements and coordinate as necessary with product team
  • Inform and educate client on new and existing products
  • Advise client on best practices and address gaps/opportunities
  • Surface up-sell and cross-sell opportunities for the Sales team
  • Facilitate training as needed
  • Client liaison to functional support areas (membership, contracts, compliance, billing, integration, etc.)
  • CRM accountability, Forecast & GAP reporting

    Required Education and Experience:

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent job related experience
    • Minimum of 3 years of complex relationship management experience
    • Background in credit or financial services industry. Good knowledge of consumer credit reporting
    • Sales drive and motivation
    • Strong oral and written communication skills
    • Ability to simultaneously manage multiple accounts/opportunities
    • Solid technical skills with ability to learn, understand, and train the client on Clarity system operations
    • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite; especially Excel and PowerPoint
    • Ability to work well in a team environment and independently with limited supervision
    • Ability to travel
