Working for Tech Data, you will be supporting manufacturers such as, Apple, Brocade, Cisco, Dell, HP, IBM, Lenovo, Microsoft, Oracle, VMWare, etc The video link below provides a glimpse into our world!The Vice President of Enterprise Architecture will work with stakeholders, both leadership and subject matter experts to build a holistic view of IT's strategy, processes, information and enterprise technology assets to ensure that business and IT areas are aligned across the enterprise. This role is vital to link the business mission, strategy and processes of Tech Data to the IT strategy and documents this using multiple best practice architectural models that graphically depict current and future needs of the IT organization, ensuring they are met in an efficient, sustainable, agile and adaptable manner. This leader will oversee a global team of architects, vendors and solution providers and will be expected to provide guidance, insight and direction to executives and staff both inside of IT and with business stakeholders.Essential Duties & Responsibilities RequiredEssential Duties & Responsibilities Required: Provide strategic insight and guidance to IT executives and business stakeholders Lead architects to develop and maintain enterprise architectural models Provide enterprise architectural oversight for the global IT portfolio Attend strategic and project centric meetings Develop, optimize and monitor enterprise architecture processes Other IT executive tasks Other Duties & Responsibilities: Additional duties as assigned Meets attendance and punctuality standardsQualifications, Required Knowledge Skills & Abilities and Working ConditionsRequired Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Able to execute instructions and to request clarification when needed. Able to use relevant computer system applications at an advanced level.Experience: 15+ Years of relevant work experience. 8 to 10 Years of experience directly managing / supervising employees. Education & Certifications: Master's / Postgraduate Degree with Information Technology Field of Study preferred. Bachelor's Degree with Information Technology field of study required. Other Education / Certifications: Enterprise Architecture certification such as Togaf or ZachmanWorking Conditions: Occasional non-standard work hours or overtime as business requires. Consistent non-standard work or overtime as business requires. May be located at the Clearwater corporate office or at the reseller location. On-call availability required as necessary. Professional, office environment. Some travel required.
