Business Development The Regional Director of Business
Development:
- Provides leadership to Business Development Liaisons which
includes managing, training, coaching and providing overall
guidance to the Business Development team of an assigned
territory.
- Is accountable for the business development support budget and
assigning goals and targets to be achieved by the Business
Development team.
- Leads business development change initiatives and removes
obstacles impeding constructive organizational change.
- Establishes and maintains productive peer to peer relationships
with customers and prospects.
- Identifies where improvements can be made and develops sales
plans and strategies to achieve sales goals.
- Monitors performance of the Business Development team and
motivates members to meet and exceed sales targets.Position
Requirements:
- Education and/or Experience: Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from
four-year college or university in marketing communications,
business or a healthcare related field; or one to two years related
experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education
and experience.
- Minimum of 3-5 years leading Business Development teams
strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 4 years' experience working in a selling role and
with sales technology and CRM software strongly preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of selling strategies and methods, as well
as employee motivation techniques.
- Strong working knowledge of healthcare specifically Hospice,
