population.About the Position:The VP Business Development will
oversee the company's new business development efforts, working
closely with sales, marketing, legal, and technology departments to
effectively implement programs that drive additional revenue growth
opportunities while increasing organizational profitability. The
ideal candidate for this role will be a customer-focused, results
driven, relationship builder, who can develop a strategy and see
sales initiatives through to implementation while measuring
outcomes to validate success. The individual will need to be a
consensus builder, high-velocity sales and marketer, strategic
thinker, and infinitely curious with a hunger to continually
improve.Tasks and Responsibilities Build upon broad and deep
existing relationships across the health care Provider landscape to
immediately leverage actionable business opportunities.A deep
understanding of Medicare, Medicare Advantage, Part D, Medicare
Supplement insurance sales.Drive new business wins through
ownership of all new customer go-to-market strategies. Understand
the nuanced health system purchasing and contracting
process.Oversee business development, competitor analysis, and
retention monitoring processes and initiatives aligned to new
business revenue generation programs.Work closely with operations
and management team to prepare and lead the sales
presentationPartner with the CEO, CFO, and CMO to support decisions
around pricing, contract length, and minimum production
guaranteesWork with existing sales engagement framework to execute
on predefined programs and assist marketing to create content and
collateralReview/Refine current third-party and partner alliance
programs to maximize enterprise outcomes. Proven ability in
establishing and fostering partnerships and networks with
healthcare community leaders to include professional organizations,
trade shows and academic programs
Requirements:
Qualifications7+ years of experience hands-on sales management
experience in a high-growth B2B, healthcare, or SaaS environment
Bachelor's Degree or Master's in Business Administration
preferred7+ years of quantifiable, proven sales track record in the
provider market.Strategic thinking Self-driven dreamer who is
comfortable with sales quota retention, ongoing relationship
management, and a can-do mentality required in an early-stage
channel of the organization.Proven ability in establishing and
fostering partnerships and networks with healthcare community
leaders to include professional organizations, trade shows and
academic programsTrack record of managing multiple projects with a
demonstrated ability to prioritize efforts based on ROI to the
businessIn depth knowledge of Microsoft Office and CRM
applicationsAbility to work effectively remotely, while traveling,
and reside close to major airportDemonstrate strong people skills,
including being perceived as genuinely caring, warm empathetic,
fair, motivating, and positivePhysical RequirementsWhile performing
