Job Description Job Description Job Title: Facilities Maintenance Technician Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team in Lakeland, FL. This role offers flexible shift options from 6am to 4pm or 5am to 2pm, based on your preference. As a Facilities Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for various maintenance tasks and have the opportunity to learn new skills to advance your career. Responsibilities Change lights and grease chains. Change outlets and fan motors. Grease forklifts and hang new fans. Install new lightbulbs and change AC filters. Perform light preventive maintenance. Be willing to be trained for new skillsets and maintenance duties. Conduct basic wiring of new lights or overhead fans. Install new signs on campus. Maintain eyewash stands. Essential Skills Facilities maintenance experience. Basic electrical skills. Ability to work with hand tools such as ratchet sets and pliers. Experience in preventive maintenance. Willingness to learn new skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in industrial maintenance is a plus. Prior facility maintenance experience. The facility is non-climate controlled, offering a stable and consistent work atmosphere. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lakeland, FL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
