Assembly Harness Technician - Level I - Longwood, FL. $15 an hour to start- Excellent Benefits, employer pays 90% APPLY TODAY JOB DESCRIPTION Essential Duties and Responsibilities * Reading of diagrams, assembly drawings and to accurately build product to specification. * Build according to customer specifications and MSPs. * Ensure product meets quality requirements. * Use a variety of hand tools, gauges, heat guns and equipment such as but not limited to hot tweezers, soldering irons, 2300 wire trimmers, etc. * Prep and process wires (to include wire routing, heat shrinking, stripping, crimping, plug connectors and potting) for harness assemblies. * Assist processes, workflow and build procedures. * Maintain a clean work environment and adhere to industry regulations. Qualifications / Requirements * Electronic and mechanical aptitude is a necessity. * Must be able to bend, stoop, reach, sit, stand, and walk for extended periods. * Must be able to read and understand wire diagrams, and technical drawings. * Must be able to accurately use measuring tools and perform basic mathematical functions. * Attention to detail and quality. * Able to lift up-to 30 pounds. Desired Qualifications * High School diploma, GED or equivalent Vocational Training. * Experience working in an electronic / mechanical capacity, having used a wide variety of hand tools and equipment such as hand tools, power tools, wire cutters, torque wrenches, calipers, and other measuring tools. * Related Military experience. * Willingness to work varied shifts to support surge activities.
