Description:SUMMARYManage and improve all processes with the WHK medical device manufacturing department. Work with Quality to ensure all systems are in compliance with ISO 13485. Implement new processes and assist with onboarding of all new business. Set-up and manage all BOM's and Routings in ERP system for new part introduction and for any process changes. Promote safety, housekeeping, and area improvement initiatives.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assignedMaintain all molds, fixtures, and dies used in production.Construct and install fixtures and equipmentEvaluate all said tooling and report to engineering on possible damage or excessive wearLead production in setup of molds and machineryProvide troubleshooting support and training for productionBasic maintenance of molding machines, including liquid silicone molding machineAssist in engineering team R&D activities including destructive and non-destructive testingPerform mold validation activitiesResponsible for documenting mold change and machine adjustments including troubleshooting and tool maintenance.Makes effective technical decisions and communicates them to Engineering, Production, and management to support root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.Work with production personnel to ensure molded components meet requirements and make adjustments as needed.Generate documentation on mold runs for traceability and reproducibilityEstablish mold maintenance schedulesWork with Quality and manufacturing departments to ensure the quality of production and products produced meet company standards.Following established procedures to maintain a clean and organized environment.Ensure safe working practices are followedPerform initial sampling and process optimization of new moldsDevelop work instructions and train production personnelTrack R&D area inventory and toolingAssist with special projects as neededWork with engineering and quality teams on continuous improvement projects including machine cycle optimization and scrap reductionTeamwork is essential for TSE's continued success, so Teamwork is an essential function of every employee's job. Must have minimum of 3-5 years manufacturing experience in an ISO 13485 regulated environment. Must have experience working in a Clean Room environment. Prior hands-on experience with injection molding and extrusion machinery required. MS Office experience required - Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint. Lean 6 Sigma training and certification highly desired.LANGUAGE SKILLSMust possess the ability to express thoughts clearly, both verbally and in written context. Ability to write reports and business correspondence. Ability to communicate effectively. Must have strong knowledge in working with the MS Office Suite.MATHEMATICAL SKILLSAn understanding of all basic mathematical skills. An understanding of trigonometry and angular relationships is necessary in order to understand and interpret blueprints.REASONING ABILITYShould be familiar with the different processes required to process materials through a manufacturing environment.
