Part-Time Chef Instructor Location: Clearwater, Florida Are you passionate about cooking and eager to share your culinary expertise with others? My Family's Kitchen, a unique cooking class and specialty food store in Clearwater, Florida, is seeking several part-time Chefs to join our team as instructors. We're looking for culinary professionals who are not only skilled in creating nutritious and delicious meals but are also excited to teach others how to recreate these dishes in their own homes. Our goal is to equip students with the ingredients, tools, and techniques they need to confidently prepare fresh, flavorful, and healthy meals. About Us: My Family's Kitchen is a subsidiary of My Family's Seasonings, LLC, a specialty spice company that supplies major grocery store chains nationwide. Founded in 2005 with our secret family recipes, our business has thrived by offering quality products that inspire great meals. What We Offer: - Cooking classes that accommodate up to 24 participants in a comfortable, home-style kitchen setting. - Flexible scheduling with classes held 4-5 evenings per week, and potentially some daytime sessions, tailored to your unique culinary expertise. - Opportunities to teach a variety of cooking techniques, such as bread making, pastry and cake creation, Italian, Mexican, Thai, cuisine etc.. . as well as canning, and charcuterie board preparation etc.. - A supportive environment where you can share your culinary passion and help us become a sought-after destination for cooking classes, private events, and networking opportunities. Key Responsibilities: - Develop engaging and healthy menus for cooking classes. - Educate students on essential culinary techniques and best practices. - Source fresh ingredients for a hands-on cooking experience. - Promote nutritious and delicious cooking methods. - If it's a pstry Class - Showcase the art of pastry, dessert making, and fine dining presentation. - Inspire students of all skill levels to explore the world of culinary arts. - Maintain a current ServSafe certification. As we embark on this new venture, we offer flexible schedules and menus. We are seeking several Chefs, Bakers, or culinary experts interested in sharing their skills, whether a few nights a week or once a month. We provide all necessary ingredients and tools, along with the option to bring an assistant or have one provided. We value punctuality, professionalism, and a friendly demeanor, and we expect our instructors to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
