Healthcare & Senior Living Construction Location: Clearwater,
Florida Salary: Up to $140,000 (DOE) Comprehensive Benefits We’re
seeking a highly skilled Commercial Estimator to join our team in
Clearwater. This role will focus on developing detailed, accurate
estimates for healthcare facilities, senior living communities,
medical office buildings, and assisted living projects throughout
the region. The ideal candidate will have strong technical
knowledge, deep familiarity with AHCA requirements, and experience
estimating complex environments where precision and compliance are
essential. Key Responsibilities: Prepare conceptual, schematic, and
detailed estimates for healthcare and senior living projects,
including skilled nursing, assisted living, memory care, clinics,
and medical office buildings. Complete accurate quantity takeoffs
and cost breakdowns across all trades. Review drawings,
specifications, AHCA guidelines, and project scope to ensure fully
compliant and complete estimates. Solicit and evaluate
subcontractor bids, ensuring accurate scope coverage and
competitive pricing. Support the preconstruction team with
budgeting, cost analysis, and value-engineering recommendations.
Develop and maintain historical cost data and benchmarking tools
for improved pricing accuracy. Prepare bid packages, proposals,
scope clarifications, and supporting documentation. Participate in
design coordination meetings and collaborate closely with project
managers, architects, engineers, and healthcare owners. Assist with
risk assessment, scheduling assumptions, phasing, and site
logistics planning. Required Experience & Qualifications: 5 years
of estimating experience in commercial construction, with a strong
background in healthcare, senior living, or institutional
facilities. Understanding of AHCA requirements, healthcare-specific
systems, infection control considerations, and senior living
construction standards. Strong knowledge of construction methods,
building systems, and multi-phase project sequencing. Proficiency
with industry estimating tools such as On-Screen Takeoff, Bluebeam,
Procore, or similar. Excellent analytical, communication, and
organizational skills. Ability to interpret technical drawings and
prepare accurate, reliable estimates. Collaborative,
detail-oriented, and proactive mindset. What We Offer: Opportunity
