Job Description:
Payment Poster 8:00am-4:30 Monday through Friday - $12/hr, long
term few month assignment:
Summary of Duties: Responsible for collecting and posting
payments.
Essential Functions:
1. Prints ERAs daily for any funds received via EFT, from either
clearinghouse or carrier sites
2. Logs EFT payments on daily batch sheet
3. Receives incoming mail, separates and distributes to appropriate
personnel
4. Totals payments received and balances with accounting
5. Logs mail payments received on daily balance sheet
6. Processes payments from insurance companies
7. Participates in educational activities and attends staff
meetings.
8. Conducts self in accordance with employee manual.
9. Maintains strictest confidentiality; adheres to all HIPAA
guidelines/regulations.
