Description:Advanced Urology Institute-Our mission is to advance patient-centered care.https://www.advancedurologyinstitute.com/AUI is currently seeking a motivated individual to grow with us in our Clearwater office.Patient Collection SpecialistResponsible for the follow up and collection of patient accounts receivable of the physicians supported by the Central Billing Operations. Responsible for working with patients in satisfaction of debt owed due to non-covered services, deductibles, coinsurance, and copays.Duties:

• Responsible for procuring final resolution of all patients owed balances.
• Responsible for communication of incorrect filing issues that result in coverage being denied to the physician, Office staff and Administration to alleviate future denials.
• Responsible for all inquiries regarding aged patient accounts receivable balances by patients whether orally or in writing.
• Responsible for the collection activity in accordance with the Corporate Financial Policy.
• Responsible for meeting the production and quality standards as set for this position.
• Responsible for providing appropriate documentation to support write-offs, transfers to collection agency, and adjustments to all accounts.
• Responsible for knowledge of all third party compliance, regulatory rules, and filing requirements.
• Responsible for cross training with other positions within the Central Billing Operations as designated by management.
• Responsible for adhering to the Corporate Confidentiality Policy.
• Other duties as assigned.Requirements:* Minimum 2-5 years' experience in collection of medical accounts receivables
  • Knowledge of all third party payer regulations, and compliance policies
